Along with The Shebeats, the new toast of the South West music scene is The Alfonz, another local band attracting the record company interest, despite only forming in summer 2006. Their original sound was just the ticket we were looking for and another reason why we reckon that Sugarhill ‘08 is among the pick of the bunch of this year’s festivals. myspace.com/thealfonz
